How to use timeline in SharePoint 2013.
Timeline provides a simple graphical interface and a high-level overview of the task items on the timeline. You can add or remove your tasks from the timeline, reorder tasks displayed on the timeline using simple “drag-and-drop” method. Also you can change the format and layout of the items displayed on the timeline. This article describes how to add a task to the timeline in the SharePoint Project site.
