How to remove Web parts and App parts from the SharePoint 2013 pages.
In the process of customization SharePoint pages you may consider to remove web parts and app parts from the default or created by users pages. When you remove web or app part form the page, it will be permanently deleted with all its settings from this page. Alternatively, you can close web and app parts. In this case they will remain in "Closed parts" group and you will be able to re add them to the page with all their settings later.
